As the use of NATURAL TAMALA LIMESTONE blocks increased, so did their application in construction projects ranging from retaining walls, residential homes, commercial buildings and landscapes.

By 1991, operations had expanded to such an extent that Peter set up his own business aptly named
Meteor Stone.

Meteor Stone is the only organization in Australia to quarry process and market NATURAL TAMALA LIMESTONE, KIMBERLEY SANDSTONE, KIMBERLEY QUARTZITE, DONNYBROOK SANDSTONE , KIMBERLEY BLACK GRANITE and ESPERANCE PINK GRANITE.

In 1996, Tony Randazzo whose background is in construction materials and management joined the company as a Director. Together Peter and Tony have developed a business with a national and international distributor network that excels in innovation, quality and customer service. The scale of the quarries, plant, equipment and the scope of jobs continue to expand rapidly.

Meteor Stone has trained work teams on-site at all of their quarries and a large processing plant at office headquarters in Landsdale. Not only do Meteor Stone service the Australian market but the company have also exported Western Australian natural stone overseas. China, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia are just some of the countries frequently shipped to by Meteor Stone.

The company is also active in the search for new, feasible and practical building materials, conducting exploration across Western Australia
